About LCAD
LCAD – Latrobe College of Art and Design – offers specialized training in Graphic Design, Game Art, and Animation. With dedicated studios, students learn skills in various disciplines of the creative industry.
The environment is excellent, small, art-oriented, with friendly people and experienced artist teachers.
Founded in 1995, LCAD is a higher education institution, approved by the Australian government, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary. The college is located in the artistic neighborhood of Collingwood. Just 2.5 km from the center of Melbourne, Collingwood is known for its galleries, art spaces, restaurants, and community lifestyle. The diversity of the multicultural community makes the neighborhood a unique place in contemporary Australian life. All facilities are equipped with the latest technology and art materials.
The Academic Exchange Program
ECDD + LCAD
The ECDD + LCAD Academic Exchange Program was created with the goal of providing Brazilian and Australian students with a transformative educational experience that combines art and design education with cultural immersion in an international environment.
In addition to technical and theoretical learning, the program provides immersion in the culture (Australian or Brazilian), allowing students to explore new modes of expression and broaden their vision of contemporary art.
This experience provides a valuable combination of academic growth and cultural development, strengthening critical thinking, artistic sensitivity, and the ability to operate in a global context.
Furthermore, interaction with professors and students of different nationalities enriches the creative process and expands opportunities for international networking and collaboration.
Course duration
The program lasts from two weeks to one month, allowing students to choose the option that best suits their academic schedule and personal goals.
Students can choose to participate individually or in groups of up to ten people, which favors both personalized learning and collaborative work on creative projects.

We remind you that ECDD establishes the partnership with the college, which offers the classes as long as there is interest from students of both institutions in participating in the exchange (ECDD receives one or more students from LCAD and vice versa). The cost of the courses is fully covered by the partnership, with students only responsible for personal expenses such as transportation, accommodation, food, and tourist activities.
